Green Hydrogen India Market Update Q3 2026 (July- Sept)
In Q3 2026, India’s green hydrogen sector progressed through tender activity, project developments, strategic partnerships and central policy initiatives. MNRE’s continued efforts supported the development of domestic production capacity and end-use applications, advancing India’s ambition to become a global hub for green hydrogen production, utilisation and exports.
- Tenders: V.O Chidambaranar Port Authority issued tender for development of 3 MW Green Hydrogen Electrolyser and refuelling station in Tamil Nadu.
- Projects Commissioned: Maruti Suzuki commissioned 300 kW Green Hydrogen Electrolyser pilot project in Manesar, Haryana.
- Policy and Regulations: MNRE issued Model Electrolyser as a Service Agreement under National Green Hydrogen Mission.
