• E2W: In July 2025, sales of high-speed electric two-wheelers (HS E2Ws) in India decreased by ~2% m-o-m, totaling 1,02,865 units. The top 3 players dominated the market, accounting for approximately 58% of total E2W registrations during the month.
• E3W- Passenger: In July 2025, registered sales of passenger electric three-wheelers (E3Ws) stood at 60,241 units, reflecting an approximately 17% m-o-m increase. Year-on-year, sales grew by ~8% compared to July 2024. The top 8 players in the E3W passenger market collectively held about 45% market share. Mahindra secured the top position this month with a market share of ~ 15 %, followed closely by Bajaj Auto at ~12%.
• E3W-Cargo: In July 2025, registered sales of cargo-type electric three-wheelers (E3Ws) stood at 8,905 units, reflecting a marginal ~0.5% month-on-month increase and ~14% y-o-y increase compared to July 2024. The top 8 players in the electric three-wheeler cargo segment collectively held ~35% of the market. Mahindra led the segment with a market share of ~7%, followed by YC Electric Vehicle at ~6%.
• E-Cars: In July 2025, total E-Car sales stood at 15,293 units, reflecting a 17% m-o-m increase. On a y-o-y basis, sales grew by ~104% compared to July 2024. Tata Motors maintained its dominance in the E-Car market, securing a ~39% market share.
• E-Buses: In July 2025, total E-bus sales amounted to 365 units, reflecting ~31% m-o-m and ~16% y-o-y decrease, compared to July 2024. JBM Auto led the market with a dominant ~41% share, followed by Olectra Greentech at ~23%.
